Camping with friends in the Doane Valley Campground within Palomar Mountain State Park. Although it was cold and raining for some of the weekend, we were still able to get out and enjoy the area. Also had a chance to stop by and tour the Palomar Observatory.

 

The park is east of Highway 15, off Highway 76, up Highway S6, then left on Highway S7 at the junction near the store.
