Tanzania, a country on the Eastern edge of the African continent, holds a wild splendor that can only exist in Africa. We spent the first week of our trip on Mount Kilimanjaro, among the highest peaks in the world, so large that it is also host to several distinct climatic zones. Our second week took us on safari through three major national parks of Tanzania, seeing native African animals and flora firsthand in their natural habitats. These were sights no one should miss.
