• Fresnel Diffraction Here is where you can find out about Fresnel diffraction, a phenomenon demonstrated in wave media, including light.

  NOTE: With this software, I was a student winner in Computers In Physics' Eighth Annual Software Contest, announced in their Nov/Dec 1997 issue. While receiving this award, I presented my software at the Winter 1998 American Association of Physics Teacher's conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.

• Atom In a Box Here is where you can find out about Atom in a Box, a program that displays the three-dimensional hydrogenic atomic orbitals, an example of Quantum Mechanics, in real-time.

  NOTE: First announced at the 1998 Conference on Computational Physics held in Granada, Spain, Computers In Physics designated me a student winner in their Ninth Annual Software Contest with this software. Descriptions of the prize winners are in their Nov/Dec 1998 issue. While receiving this award, I presented my software at the Winter 1999 American Association of Physics Teachers' conference in Anaheim, California.

  This now makes me the only person to have been a student winner twice and twice in a row in CIP's Software Contest.

• Solar System Sim Here is where you can find out about Solar System Sim, a program that simulates the N-body problem in three dimensions for arbitrary radial forces, including a craft with thrusters.

  
  

• The AppleSeed Project Here is where you can find out about the AppleSeed Project, a project to network PowerMacs together to form a parallel computer that, per processor, rivals the fastest massively parallel computers in the world. We presented a poster on AppleSeed at the 1998 Conference on Computational Physics in Granada, Spain. You may also view a 12-minute streaming RealVideo clip of our presentation at the UCLA Department of Design's EDA Center.
